About Vivek Giddani

With over a decade of experience as a dentist, with a special interest in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Periodontology, and Dental Implants, Dr Vivek Giddani bring a wealth of expertise to patient care. Vivek Giddani holds the position of Trust Speciality Registrar in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Derriford Hospital Plymouth, where he conducts intricate oral surgical procedures. His expertise extends to performing facial reconstruction surgeries for both trauma and cancer patients. Additionally, Vivek serves as a Speciality Doctor in Restorative Dentistry, managing complex dental cases referred to him and overseeing the rehabilitation of oral cancer patients. His post-graduate training in Clinical Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London and subsequent experience at Royal London Hospital exposed him to a wide range of major Oral, Facial, and Oncology surgeries, collaborating closely with some of the leading consultants in the country. Vivek, has also pursued advanced training in Dental Implants, with a special emphasis on CBCT Interpretation, Sinus Lift, and Bone Grafting, complemented by a post-graduate diploma in Periodontology from Peninsula Dental School in Plymouth. Vivek is an active member of the Devon Local Dental Committee and previously a BAOS Southwest representative. Furthermore, he proudly serves as the practice owner of three dental practices , Larkham House Dental Practice in Plympton, Abbey Mead Dental & Implant Clinic in Tavistock & Modbury Dental Practice in Modbury, all part of Giddani Health Group Ltd.
