About Uppal Patel

Uppal graduated with honours in 1998 from Guy’s Dental Hospital. After spending some time working at Guy’s Hospital, Uppal has spent the last 9 years in general practice. During this time she has also completed numerous postgraduate qualifications leading to specialist status. These included gaining Membership to the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners, Royal College of Surgeons, England in 2000, Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons, England in 2001. Uppal then completed a 2 year full-time post-graduate Masters programme in Fixed & Removable Prosthodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute, with Distinction in 2005, also being awarded the University College London Commemorative Prize in Fixed & Removable Prosthodontics in 2005. Following this she gained Membership in Restorative Dentistry (Prosthodontics), Royal College of Surgeons, England in 2006 and is now a registered specialist in Prosthodontics & special interests in implant dentistry. In addition to working in privae practice, Uppal is also a Visiting Clinical Lecturer in Prosthodontics at Eastman CPD centre of excellence, and is a member of the British Society of Restorative Dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Uppal enjoys travel, cooking, reading & swimming. Uppal and Dipan have been married for 10 years and have a young son.
