About Stefano Del Monte

Dr. Stefano Del Monte graduated in Dentistry from the University of Rome Tor Vergata (Italy) with a first class degree. In the same University he completed 18 months of post-doctoral training focused on Endodontic treatments and Dental Emergencies. During this training he carried out hundreds of complex endodontic treatments and retreatments using the most advanced techniques, protocols and materials. Within the Erasmus program he attended the University Paris Descartes (France) and Louis Mourier Hospital for one year. Here he was able to diversify and improved his skills attending one of the best Dental Schools in Europe. Dr. Del Monte has also spent one year as a visiting student at McGill University (Canada), where he focused his research activity on Evidence-Based Dentistry in collaboration with the University of Montreal. He won the SCAD VITA award for Excellence in Research in Chicago and the first prize for the best table clinic presentation at CARDP annual meeting in Montreal. Moreover, he gave lectures at the International College of Prosthodontics in Seoul, South Korea, and at the Italian Society for Pediatric Dentistry in Rome. Currently he is living in London where he works in three prestigious Dental Clinics. Dr. Del Monte works on a private basis only; focusing his practice mainly on Root Canal Treatment and due to his studies he fluently speaks English, French and Italian. Dr. Del Monte is very gentle, calm, and he likes talking to his patients to explain to them how proper Endodontic treatment is important to keep their natural teeth and preserve good dental health.
