About Simon Ernst

Simon accepts implant referrals with a particular interest in the treatment of nervous patients and complex compromised aesthetic cases involving missing teeth. Having graduated from the University of Bristol in 2006, Simon completed his vocational training in Clevedon and then embarked on six months of volunteering with several dental charities across east and southern Africa. Upon his return, he worked for several years as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Newport and Bath. He is now heavily involved in teaching as a Speciality Dentist at the Bristol Dental Hospital. Simon shares most of his time between Charlton Road Dental and Cirencester Dental Practice as an Implant and Cosmetic Dentist. He has a particular interest in the treatment of nervous patients. In 2009 he completed an intensive course on Intravenous Sedation and Anxiety Control and takes great pleasure from rebuilding the confidence of anxious patients. Simon is also a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anesthesia in Dentistry. In 2011 he was also awarded Membership to the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons. Simon has been placing and restoring Dental Implants for several years and has attended Implant courses across the UK and Europe. He completed a Master of Science Degree in Dental Implantology at the University of Bristol in 2014. He is a Study Club Director and Speaker for the International Team for Implantology (ITI).
