About Simon Ernst

Simon has a particular interest in Oral Surgery and the treatment of nervous patients. He studied dentistry at the University of Bristol. After graduating, he spent a year in the National Health Service followed by 6 months volunteering as a Dental Surgeon in Africa. Since his return to the UK he has worked in several hospitals in South Wales and the South West as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has also worked in several private general dental practices from where he received local referrals. He currently splits his time between private general practice and the Bristol Dental Hospital, where he is heavily involved in teaching undergraduates in the oral surgery department. Simon has extensive experience in sedation and the management of nervous patients. He is also currently undertaking a Master of Science degree in Dental Implantology at the University of Bristol.
