About Simon Allen

Simon’s enthusiasm for dentistry is contagious for all who meet him, his knowledge, care and dedication is noted by the loyalty of his patients, many of whom have a 25 year track history with him in 2006. He strives to achieve the perfect smile for every patient interested in a confidence boost and his aim has led him around the world in order to be trained in the most up to date methods and techniques in cosmetic and implant dentistry. Simon has a special interest in aesthetics delivered by close support dentistry (working closely with both one and two nurses) abandoning the use of silver amalgam many years ago, he uses composite and porcelain to restore teeth in most cases. He is a member of the BACD. Simon is gaining knowledge and experience in the field of facial aesthetics. To celebrate his 25th year at Stricklands, he has just commissioned a brand new highly individual surgery very much along the lines of a spa treatment room and intends to enter the room design in a dental environment competition in 2007. Simon is married to Anne; they have 2 children Giles and Elspeth. Simon’s hobbies include music, playing classical, jazz and rock guitar himself, drawing and painting, country walking, good food and organising practice parties!
