About Shahab Rahman
Shahab gained his MSc in Restorative Dentistry from the reputed University of Newcastle in 2004, where he then went on to complete his Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS RCS Ed) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Since then he has been working in the Restorative Dentistry department at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and latterly at the Aberdeen Dental School & Hospital. Shahab worked as a Senior House Officer from 2004-2007 and is currently working as a Specialty Doctor in the department since 2007.
Shahab provides comprehensive specialist level care for patients in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Endodontics and Implantology. His special interests include full mouth rehabilitation including restoring severe tooth wear/tooth surface loss cases and complex denture cases including overdentures. He also has a keen interest in Implantology and has had experience in dealing with Nobel Biocare and Straumann systems.
Shahab is a member of the British Society of Prosthodontics and the British Society of Periodontology.
Besides working, he loves travelling, enjoys watching and plays football and is a hardcore F1 fan. He also loves taking his daughter swimming.
