About Roshan Vasaiwalla

Roshan graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2016. In 2015 he was awarded a first place prize for his clinical skills in the Glasgow Edition of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh Competition. He moved back home to Bexley and completed his foundation year in Kent where he was awarded joint first prize for his end of year case presentation. During this time, he was also awarded a posgraduate certifcate in Primary Care Dentistry, with merit. He is now studying towards a postgraduate diploma from the University of Kent. Roshan is passionate in providing minimally invasive cosmetic dental treatments such as: Composite bonding (White fillings) Ceramic Tooth-coloured Inlays, Onlays and Crowns White Spot Removal (ICON by DMG) Dental Whitening Short-term Orthodontics (Invisalign Alignment) Future Learning Goals: MJDF (The Diploma of Membersip of the Joint Dental Faculties) Completing Postgraduate Certification in Endodontics The Dawson Academy UK Core Curriculum Courses Outside of dentistry, he enjoys travelling and has an interest in learning about different cultures and their traditions.

I have been a patient at 2 Green Dental for many years and first met Roshan about a year ago when I had an emergency appointment. I had a filling in my front tooth that I could feel moving and was worried it was going to fall out. I am always nervous about attending the dentist and was, of course, worried about seeing a different dentist, but the receptionist assured me that Roshan was really kind and she was definitely right! Roshan replaced my loose filling and, for the first time ever, I did not need an injection to have the work done. Roshan told me I wouldn’t feel anything and I didn’t. Also, the filling is virtually invisible! Then two weeks ago I had raging tooth ache. I phoned the surgery for an emergency appointment and was booked in to see Roshan that afternoon. After examining the tooth, and taking x-rays, Roshan told me that I either needed to have a root canal or lose the tooth. Knowing how nervous I get Roshan took the time to talk through my worries, as like many others, I had heard stories about how painful root canals are. After speaking with Roshan I decided I wanted to go ahead with the root canal. He assured me that it wouldn’t be painful, it would just take time to do, and as he told me that previously that something wouldn’t hurt I knew he would be telling the truth. When I came in to have the root canal done Roshan, along with Dental Nurse Jess, was absolutely amazing. They were both so patient, kind and understanding. They did everything they possibly could to make me feel as comfortable as possible and, once again, Roshan was true to his word……….the root canal didn’t hurt! I cannot recommend Roshan enough. He is an amazing dentist who understands that the high quality care and understanding of his patients is just as important as his high quality dentistry work. He is an absolute star and I cannot thank him enough!
