About Richard Tucker

Richard Tucker has been in private practice since 1991 * He did his specialist training at the Eastman Dental Institute, London, between 1997 and 2001 * His Master of Clinical Dentistry degree in Periodontology, was awarded with distinction from University College London * He was the medal winner for the Membership in Restorative Dentistry examination from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, in 2001 * He now works at the Eastman, part-time, teaching graduate students and dentists and is Director and Coordinator of Eastman CPD Periodontal Programmes * He has a specialist referral practice in the West End of London, limited to treatments for gum problems and the surgical aspect of implant dentistry * He is a past member of council of the British Society of Periodontology * He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology * He is Past-President, Section of Odontology, of the Royal Society of Medicine, London. * He has published in peer-reviewed journals and lectured nationally and internationally * Above all, he is a good communicator and loves treating patients using good clinical expertise in a sympathetic manner Richard is a keen skier and wine aficionado.
