About Richard Bateman

Dr. R. Bateman qualified from King College Hospital in 1978 and started practising at "The Lindens" straightaway. An early interest in orthodontics nurtured with many training courses over the years culminated in admission to the GDC's specialist register in 2000. A member of the British Orthodontic Society and the European orthodontic Society, regular attendance at their respective conferences and additionally to the American Orthodontic conferences keeps him abreast of this fast moving speciality. Vice chairman of the Croydon Local Dental committee and chairman of the Croydon Local orthodontic committee as well as secretary of the Bromley LOC keep him busy outside surgery. Additionally he is the Orthodontic advisor to Richmond and Twickenham P.C.T. Hobbies include golf, tennis, motor racing, and flying.
