Birchington Orthodontic Practice - Riccarda Kane

About Riccarda Kane
I graduated from University College Hospital Dental School London in 1989 and obtained my postgraduate qualifications at Guy's and The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1997. I am on the General Dental Council specialist list for orthodontics and I am a member of the British Orthodontic Society.
I have worked at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital and more locally at Kent and Canterbury Hospital for many years, as well as in general dental practice and the Community Dental Service.
Following qualification as a specialist orthodontist I have worked in the Thanet area and the Birchington Orthodontic Practice was opened in 1999.
I keep up to date on the latest techniques and ideas by reading widely and attending national courses and meetings and local discussion groups with my fellow specialists.
I enjoy treating children, teenagers and adults and especially watching the transformation to a wonderful, healthy, confident smile. I have a particular interest in treating patients who have suffered from periodontal disease which has caused severe movement.
