About Rhu McKelvey
Rhu graduated in Dentistry at Glasgow in 1995, gained his Fellowship in Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons in 1998 and then spent three years in Specialist Orthodontic training in Bristol and Exeter, completing the orthodontic exam (M.Orth) in Edinburgh in 2002. Rhu has worked both in practice and as a locum consultant. He has been based in Dundee since 2005 where he launched Beam Ortho with his wife, Jane.

I am almost finished my treatment at Beam. I was apprehensive about having braces fixed. However, Beam have looked after me each step of the way, putting me at ease from my first appointment, giving me guidance and helpful tips on how to look after my braces and accommodating last minute appointments. The staff at Beam definitely go the extra mile to make sure that you are comfortable with the process. The surgery is bright and modern, leaving you with a feeling like you are there for some relaxing therapy rather than orthodontic treatment. The surroundings, combined with the friendly staff make the experience as pleasant as can it be. I can already see vast improvement in my teeth and would like to say to say a big thank you to Rhu and all of his staff for making my smile what I know it will be when my braces come off.
