About Rajesh kumar Handa

Dr Handa is a West Midlands based practice owner/principal and part time Associate Specialist in the department of oral surgery at Birmingham Dental Hospital. He routinely provides treatment under GA, sedation and local anaesthesia. He undertakes undergraduate and postgraduate teaching duties there with the academic oral surgery unit, having held an Honorary Clinical Lecturer position with the University of Birmingham. He is a VT trainer at his practice and delivers courses on sedation and management of medical emergencies in dental practices. He has experience in maxillofacial surgery, having held SHO and non-consultant grade positions in UK units over the past 10 years. During this time he continued to develop his special interest and expertise in implant dentistry. Having placed his first implants in 1997, his current implant casework includes complex cases, employing CBCT, 3D planning using Simplant software and precision guided surgery using Surgiguide. Dr Handa has made a commitment to offer patients undergoing treatment at his Moseley practice a clinical environment which conforms to the most recent, stringent standards of disinfection and cross infection control. Dedicated implant dentistry facilities and nursing staffs, who have received extended training. .
