A highly experienced private dentist with special interest in root canal treatments (endodontics). We use the Pro-Taper Nickel Titanium filing system for our endodontics to ensure a predictable and highly successful root canal filling. Where possible all root canal fillings (endodontics) are done using rubber dam. Root canal treatment can very often be performed in a single visit, but occasionally requires a second to secure an excellent, sterile root filling. Dr van der Merwe also does cosmetic dentistry and cosmetic fillings on back teeth, as well as the the complete range of routine dentistry. His 13 years experience and clinical skill makes him an excellent clinician at an affordable price.
