About Meredith James

Meredith James qualified from The Royal Dental Hospital of London in 1965, and spent the following five years in the RAF, as a Dental Officer. After a short period as an associate in Chichester, he started a private practice in Worthing that grew to four partners. At the same time, he held a part-time post in the Oral and Maxillofacial Units at St Richards and Southlands hospitals. In 1984, Meredith accepted a partnership in a large practice in Hong Kong, and during this time obtained a diploma from UCLA, California, in implant prosthetics. He is now in part-time practice in Southbourne. He has sailed boats all his life and is an experienced offshore navigator with thousands of miles in his log. He cycles to keep fit and has been a Rotarian for 30 years.
