About Maria Danou

Maria qualified at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2002 and, after six months of practice next to a university lecturer Endodontist, she came to Canterbury in 2003. She joined St. George’s Dental Practice in 2004 and has been a member of the team ever since. Her main interest in dentistry is the restoration of aesthetically impaired teeth and is content when she can give patients a confident wide smile. She has been continuously updating her skills within various fields on dentistry including courses in aesthetic restorations and endodontics in UCL Eastman Dental Hospital. She is approachable and understanding, which allows her to tailor her treatment to suit each patient’s individual needs. Her thorough, calm and gentle approach has helped make the dental visits, for children and adults, a more relaxing and pleasant experience and her friendly and engaging nature makes even the most nervous patients feel at ease. Maria enjoys being creative and achieving a satisfying, fulfilling and well-balanced life both personally and professionally.
