About Kasim Butt

I graduated from the University of Bristol with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree with distinction. In addition, I won the British Dental Association medal 2015. This is awarded by the Bristol and District section of the BDA to the best final year student in the clinical and practical aspects of dental practice. I have recently joined Torcross Dental Practice as part of my dental foundation training year. I am a friendly, approachable and empathetic individual who strives to provide excellent patient centred care. I believe each patient must be treated on an individual basis as a unique person rather than merely another mouth. I am particularly interested in the field of Periodontology and was recently presented with the 2015 GlaxoSmithKline prize in Periodontology. Outside of dentistry, I regularly play football as part of a "5 a-side" team and I am an avid football fan.
