Modbury Dental Surgery - David Robinson

About David Robinson
David qualified in Dundee in 1978. He was in general practice until 1992. During this time he received training to allow him to provide intravenous sedation. He also did a lot of work studying occlusion and cosmetic dentistry, including veneers and tooth whitening.
In 1992 he reduced his general practice and focused on setting up a specialist orthodontic referral practice as well as studying implantology. 1998 saw David with a young family and decided to leave the hurly – burly of the Home Counties and moved to the South Hams, Devon. This allowed further time to study, including a year long course on Restorative Dentistry, in Manchester, and another year long course, again in Manchester, on Aesthetic Dentistry. He also undertook a supervised course at the Eastman Dental Hospital, on Porcelain Laminates, run by the renowned Dr Larry Rosenthal of New York.
David’s latest toy is the CEREC machine, which allows him to mill his own porcelain restorations in the practice.
