About David Owen

David was born and grew up in Liverpool, and graduated from Liverpool School of Dentistry in 1984. After setting up two Dental Practices in the North West of England, a Dental Practice became available in Kirkcudbright so he took the opportunity to live and work in Scotland, his favourite fishing destination. He has continued to maintain and enhance his skills and knowledge through numerous courses of continuing education, most notably implant surgery courses in London and Glasgow. David was accepted by Glasgow Postgraduate Centre as a Trainer for newly qualified Dentists and so far has successfully completed the training of three young Dentists. More recently David has undergone Facial Aesthetics Training in Harley Street, London and now enjoys providing Botox and Dermal Fillers Treatments David is married to Elaine, who is a Dental Hygienist. They have two children, Lucy and Harry. Dr Owen is a keen fly fisherman, enjoys field sports and training his young Cocker Spaniel, Coco.
