About Birgit Jensen

Dr. Birgit Jensen is a qualified dentist and specialist orthodontist from the University of Copenhagen. Birgit is a Ph.D. after years of research on dental and facial development. She has been a teacher for many years to pre-and postgraduate students. Birgit is accredited to the General Dental Council as a specialist orthodontist. Having worked with fixed and removable braces for many years, Birgit first started Invisalign treatments in 2002, only a few months after this strategy was introduced to the UK. Birgit has completed Invisalign's innovative training courses, and attends a yearly conference in Europe. Birgit was one of the first UK orthodontists to use the Invisalign Strategy and is now one of the top UK providers of Invisalign. She has treated nearly 400 patients with Invisalign since 2002. Birgit has been awarded the prestigious “Invisalign Platinum Status” and is one of a handful of providers who have been accredited with “Preferred Provider” status. Birgit has identified that Invisalign is a dynamic, non-intrusive treatment solution helping people regain their confidence (and their smile) without having to wear braces. Birgit has to date treated a large number of clients across the country and has developed an impressive portfolio of satisfied clients. Birgit will of course happily provide treatment with traditional braces, if this is seen as the best option for the patient.
