About Bhavin Patel

Bhavin graduated in 2006 from Bart’s and The London Queen Mary’s School of Medicine and Dentistry (University of London) achieving B.D.S. with Honours. He then came to work here at Woodford Dental Care performing general dentistry and completing Post graduate Vocational Training. In the summer of 2007 he obtained a Senior House Officer post at Whipps Cross University District General Hospital for 6 months in Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery and then furthered this experience of Oral and Facial Surgery for an additional 6 months at St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospitals. During these rotations he performed complex surgical dentistry under both local and general anaesthesia and assisted with more complicated hard and soft tissue facial surgery in both Elective and Accident and Emergency situations. Bhavin then completed a year training post as a Senior House Officer in Restorative Dentistry at The Royal London Dental Hospital which included Specialist Consultation Clinics and care in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatments), Prosthodontics (Crown, Bridge and Dentures), Periodontology (Gum Treatment), Oral Medicine and Acute Dental Care. He has completed a Diploma for a Membership of The Joint Dental Faculties of The Royal College of Surgeons of England and is now a Lecturer for this Examination. Bhavin has a strong dedication to Continuing Professional Development and Evidence Based Dentistry and is now working at Woodford Dental Care where he offers General Dental Care as well as Routine and Surgical Dental Services. He also works at Whipps Cross University Hospital as a Staff Grade Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
