About Andy Burns

Mr Andy Burns is our Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, and places Dental Implants at the Practice. He graduated from Manchester University Dental School in 1987 andfrom Charing Cross & Westminster Medical School in 1996. Andy is also able to carry out other complex procedures such as removal of wisdom teeth, biopsies, apicectomies, sinus lifts and bone grafts. Complex procedures such as dental implants require experience, and Andy has this in bucketloads. He spends most of his time working as a Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at Sunderland Hospital, but we are lucky to have him running our dental implant clinic on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
