As usual my last appointment was efficiently and courteously dealt with. Following the root extraction I suffered continous bleeding but was able to return for prompt and successful treatment with very short notice. As usual all staff were found to be polite and understanding. (5/2/2012)

An excellent friendly practice which I have been attending for about 40 years. My dentist is John Joyce who has always looked after my dental wellbeing (and his father before him). I have nothing but praise for the Hockley Dental Surgery, the staff are courteous, friendly and efficient. The premises are clean and welcoming. The treatment and reasons behind it are always explained carefully and in detail and the appointments are always fitted around my 'best available' times. ALmost a pleasure to go to the dentist and a far cry from my memories as a youngster and at other surgeries. Thank you. (3/28/2012)

Having been seen by Mr O'Regan for many years now, I can happily say I would recommend. He is always very kind and considerate, and always explains everything to me. The surgery overall is excellent, and reception staff very friendly and helpful. I know it can be quite expensive, but the quality of the practice is superb. (2/8/2012)

Having had a fear of dentists in my younger years, I am always happy to go to my regular dental checks and hygienist visits now. The procedures I have had are painless and the dentist and hygienist take care to ensure that everything is comfortable and explained well. Text reminders are appreciated before the appointments too. i started my detal treatment with mr joyce the latter half of 2011, at which time i was in a bad way and embarrassed and extremely scared. ican only say this with the deepest of gratitde, in a way, which comes from my heart. my treatment has been carried out under sedation because all concerned thought that this would be the best course for me, and yes it has, i still get nervous but not the shivvering wreck that i was. i have never been patronised or made to feel in adequate because i let myself go, and now thanks to mr joyce and his team i am starting to look and feel so much better, not only are my teeth looking better and i can now smile without covering my mouth !! but they have given me confidence and encouragement for me to carry on and never allow myself to be in such a way again. all this probably sounds cheesy but i never thought in a million years how i would feel now with the thanks to my dentist. Anyone out there who is really scared, try no to be and go and see them, they will make you comfortable, and create an individual treatment plan especially for you, not only can they give you back your teeth but also your wellbeing and confidence .
