After a bad experience with a previous dental practice for the first time in my life, I dreaded going to the dentist. After a painful abcess on a root canal done very badly appeared, I was forced to visit a dentist and after careful researching, I chose Dental Excellence. I could not ask for a better dental practise. Jeremy is calm, professional and very reassuring and he quickly clamed my nerves about treatment. Infection cleared, old root canal removed, new root canal done and a new crown later, Jeremy has fixed a problem I have had to deal with for nearly 4 years in a matter of about 6 months. I really could not praise this practise more highly. Not only is Jeremy a master at his craft but he fully complimented by fabulous, kind and caring Michelle, Maria and Tracey who effortlessly make you feel welcome, calm and well looked after, before, during and after the appointment. I saw Mr Woodcock for a "second opinion" this evening after my NHS dentist said (just before xmas!) that I would need a crown as soon as. Mr Woodcock spent WELL over half an hour with me; he gave me his opinion and showed a huge amount of expertise. He confirmed I did indeed have a crack in my tooth, but that it was not as bad as I had been told. Mr Woodcock was extremely patient with my "20 questions" and explained in detail about the options that I had available. I had initially planned to only have my NHS dentist do any work that needed doing with my cracked tooth BUT I would seriously consider saving those extra pennies to have Mr Woodcock do the job instead! I was just soooo impressed by this practice. I felt from the start that they all wanted to help me and I wasnt just another faceless person. The rooms are clean and welcomining and the dentist was very calm and gentle. Everyone was smiling and it was a good team of people. I just felt that it was a really great experience even though I had dreaded it before. (4/11/2011)

The whole practice has a very calm and relaxed atmosphere. I actually fell asleep during my root canal treatment!! The receptionist is lovely and the nurses are really friendly. Mr Woodcock is very gentle and assured in the way he treats you. He is the best dentist ever! It was (almost) a joy to have dentistry there. (9/30/2010)

I can't speak highly enough of this practise. I am nervous but the made me feel right at ease and explained everything to me. I had a real problem that two other dentists could not sort.
