Dr Tim Barker a dentist at Barker Dental Care, Southampton
Tim qualified at Bristol University in June 1996 and joined the Barker Dental Practice in 1998, becoming practice owner in March 2007. Tim has attended numerous postgraduate courses on a variety of topics including endodontics, restoring implants, Invisalign orthodontics, temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD), restorative and cosmetic dentistry. In particular, he has attended the residential courses at the world famous Pankey Institute in Miami and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Tim continues to build on his knowledge and skill base and strives to advance the practice by investment in new methods, materials and equipment.

Tim has a wonderfully caring and patient chair-side manner, which combined with his years of experience and knowledge provides his patients with exceptional dental care.

Had a difficult time with having a veneer fitted and attitude of my previous dentist had been horendous, I had been left in pain over the christmas holiday and had twice had to have emergency treatment by two dentists at original surgery including antibiotics! Decided I couldn't go back and plucked up courage and funds to sort again. Receptionist was very helpfull and booked me in with tim who spent time to help sort my tooth out noticed much more care was taken technicaly etc and although had lost faith before am plucking up courage to go back and have booked boys in for check ups !

Tim Barker has seen both of my children for check ups now great manner and boys argued who could go first lucky to have such good dentist five minutes from home! would recomend tim to everyone especialy nervous patients such as myself.
