Mr Duncan Park a dentist at Thackeray Dental Care, Mansfield
Duncan qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2003 with Honours and the prize in restorative dentistry. Since then he has been an SHO in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in hospitals in Sheffield, Barnsley and Chesterfield where he performed a variety of minor and more complex surgical procedures. He has also held a staff grade post in oral surgery at Barnsley District General Hospital and has taught other dentists in oral surgery techniques at Chesterfield Hospital.

Duncan initially trained in dental implants at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield but further to this he has completed a masters degree in dental implantology at the University of Sheffield. Due to his expertise in this field the practice accepts referrals from other dentists to provide dental implants for their patients. He is also a current member of the Association of Dental Implantology.

Although having a special interest in dental implants and surgery, Duncan provides all aspects of cosmetic and general dentistry and likes to take the time to find out what patients would like to achieve from their treatment and then takes pride in providing the treatment to the highest level.

Most of his spare time is taken up with the ever growing family and walking his 2 very hyperactive boxer dogs! Having needed to retire from playing rugby due to an injury he now enjoys watching the game, which has the added benefit of being able to enjoy a drink at the same time.

I have been a patient for just a few months. I was given a treatment plan with all the costs for the work explained and up front. My appointments are never rushed and Duncan always takes the time to explain and procedures and choices. So far I have had a scale and polish and whitening which I am delighted with. Yet to go back for the fillings and extraction (gulp). This practice was recommended by a friend and I would be very happy to recommend too.
