I am a member of the Barbican Dental plan and have been for some years. When joning the plan I noted that one or two other plans offered a slightly cheaper monthly payment but such plans did not offer the ease of scheduling appointments and treatments or the reputation of Barbican Dental (and often required messy post-appointment fee reclaim procedures). The centre's facilities are exceptionally clean and centrally located. In dental appointments Gillian Smith instantly puts you at ease. She is lovely, efficient without being rushed and if any treatment is required, she clearly explains why.

Since starting to use Barbican Dental Care I have been very happy with the quality of service provided by Dr Gillian Smith and her team, particularly regarding the root canal treatment I had. The only other point I would make is that knowing exactly what the bill is going to look like ahead of any treatment plans can be tricky (for example I didn't realise I would additionally have to pay for a temporary filling while having my root canal done), perhaps this could be better explained? Overall though, my teeth have never been in better health and I definately recomend Dr Gillian Smith.

I feel very fortunate to have found a dentist like Gillian with whom I feel totally at ease and trust. She makes my experience at the the dentist as enjoyable as it possible could be for some one who has had a lot treatment.
Gillian is friendly, caring, extremely careful and methodical.
I totally trust her professional opinion and would highly recommend her.
She has got my mouth out of a lot of trouble.

When I first came to the practice, I had not been to the dentist in some long while - and I needed an intense period of treatement to bring my dental hygene up to scratch. I found the service and advice provided by Gillian to be both professional and delivered in a manner that gave me huge confidence.
Gillian and her nurse have been fantastic during my treatment sessions and I now leave with a beaming smile !

I have received various types of treatment since attending Barbican Dental Care from filligs to extractions and have found the service and information given by and received from Dr Gillian Smith exemplarily.
I have always found Dr Gillian Smith helpfull, considerate, and professional when advising me on the best practices to use when caring for my teeth and gums also when she is working on them. I feel Dr Smith put's me at my ease, which is of great importance to me as I am one of those people who do not like needle's or going to the dentist, yet would recommend Dr Smith to people I know.
