Dr Mark Worthing a dentist at Tupsley Dental Practice and Implant Centre, Hereford
Mark qualified from the University of Wales College of Medicine as a Dental Surgeon in January 1994. He spent two years in hospital practice in South Wales and a year in general practice in Cardiff, prior to returning to Hereford in February 1997 to join his father.
In addition, Mark has obtained a surgically-based Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and has completed further training in advanced restorative dentistry and implant dentistry in London, Dublin, Sheffield, Marseille, the University of Leuven in Belgium, Gothenburg, Halmstad and Monaco. This training is in addition to many day courses run nationally on all aspects of private dentistry.

Mark’s special interest is dental implants, which he has been placing and restoring since 1998. He is a clinical coach for AstraTech and helps general dental practitioners understand more about implant treatments, by giving morning lectures and treatment planning sessions to post graduate groups. 2007 sees the start of three day modular courses run by Mark for practitioners interested in implant work.

I had such a painful gum infection that just made me dizzy and feel awful but I was terrified of going to the dentist. Eventually my partner convinced me to book in an appointment with Dr Worthing, i'm so glad i finally did because he was just wonderful and so kind about my phobia, he talked me through everything slowly and patiently so that when it came to giving me the anasthetic I wasn't panicking. The healing after the procedure was so quick! it healed perfectly and I have no trouble at all with my gums anymore. Im so thankful to Dr Worthing, it has really made a difference!

Fantastic service and brilliant results. I have had pain free expert implants and a bridge fitted by Mark. All my treatments have been completed in a totally professional manner by Mark and his staff and I have no hesitation in recommending all my personal training clients to him for any dental treatments,
