Miss Moira Brown a dentist at The Brace Place, Havant
Moira Brown qualified from Guys Hospital, London in 1971 after which she worked for several years in Hospital posts and General Dental Practice.

She subsequently spent the next eight years at the Eastman Dental Hospital, London, first undergoing formal training as an Orthodontist then teaching graduates in the prescription and use of the full range of orthodontic appliances.

While at the Hospital she obtained a Diploma in Orthodontics, Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons and Accreditation of the Joint Committee for Higher Training in Dentistry (In Orthodontics), qualifying her for Hospital Consultancy.

She moved to Hampshire in 1984 and in the following year established this Practice with a view to providing quality care exclusively in the specialty of Orthodontics.

Orthodontic techniques are continually progressing and Moira keeps abreast of these changes by regularly attending appropriate courses and seminars. Probably the most significant of these in recent years was in the use of the ‘invisible’ Invisalign appliance for which she was one of the first practitioners in this country to be accredited in its use.

Moira is registered with the General Dental Council as an Orthodontic Specialist and is a member of the British Orthodontic Society (BOS), the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO).

As soon as I walked into The Brace Place I was put at my ease and made to feel welcome. I found Moira to be extremely helpful, detailing all of the options that were available to me (together with their approximate costs and treatment times) and answering all of the questions that I put to her. Once I had selected my treatment option and my treatment plan was complete she was able to provide me with detailed costs and payment options. It may sound strange, but throughout my treatment I looked forward to my appointments and came to regard all of the staff more like friends. What can I say about the results of my treatment - I am absolutely delighted. I never imagined that I would have such perfect teeth and as a result I spend a lot more of my time smiling. I think that I am now a much happier person.

I have recently moved to the area and was in desperate need of a tooth whitening session after years of crooked and dull teeth, I finally gathered the courage to go to the dentist and get my problem fixed. Im so glad i went because now my smile looks amazing! i have so much more confidence, I cant thank Dr Brown and their team enough, truly wonderful practice.
